• Internationalization of Higher Education: Trends and Strategies in St. Petersburg, Russia, on 4-5 October 2010 hosted by St. Petersburg State University in co-operation with the St. Petersburg Association of Vice-Rectors for International Affairs.
  
  Keynote speakers:
  Jane Knight (University of Toronto, Canada) on Internationalization around the World: Rationales, Realities and Risks; and Hans de Wit (Hogeschool van Amsterdam, the Netherlands) on Institutional Strategies for Internationalization in the Context of the European Higher Education and Research Area.
  The programme will also include presentations on international networks and programmes (e.g Erasmus Mundus) and institutional case studies.
